  • Staying curious

Being a kid at heart involves maintaining a youthful and optimistic spirit, relishing life’s simple joys, and not being burdened by unnecessary concerns. It’s not about immaturity but about finding happiness in the little things, forgiving easily, pursuing dreams, living carefree, and appreciating the present without being overly concerned about others’ opinions. Essentially, it’s about approaching life with an open heart, staying curious, and never losing my sense of wonder.

  • Yay! A GENIE

If I stumbled upon a three-wish genie, I’d make the following requests:

    1. Wisdom – You know, so I can finally outsmart my cat. haha
    2. A ton of money – Not just for me, but for the sake of my dream of building a mansion… It’s a gouda idea, right?
    3. A long and ridiculously happy life for my near and dear ones – I mean, who else will laugh at my cheesy jokes?
  • Super Nana!

Let me take this chance to introduce to you my grandma, who I have held dearly in my heart but rarely discussed with others. Apart from a few, I’ve never thought to mention her to anyone. Okay! She is very dear to me. Although I spent less time with her, I can vividly remember her face and the way she adored me.

She wasn’t educated, and she didn’t even learn to wear shoes because she found them uncomfortable haha. I often saw her singing songs (literally folk songs) for her loved ones, especially for her husband and her three children who passed away at an early age. Her profound understanding of life differed greatly from my world. She shared stories of walking miles for a week to reach the nearest town (Now Imphal). She would return with some clothes for her children. She told me about eating sweet corn instead of rice or Hao Khamui (Sticky rice bread), and how she would climb trees to protect herself from animal attacks while resting at night.

You know, all of this happened during the 1940s or 1950s when India was still struggling for independence from British rule, and to celebration of freedom, she was there, selling some of her hard-earned crops to buy pairs of cloth to keep her family warm. She embarked on the toughest journeys to provide her family with their basic needs.

Well, well, well… that’s it for today; I’ll continue in the next episode! 😄

  • Lets Hike!

Yahoo! Let’s go hiking. What’s more to say than going for a hike? It’s like killing two birds with one stone. Your body will be physically fit, plus you get to enjoy a new place, make new friends, experience a new environment, and, most importantly, have new adventurous experiences. So let’s go hike and be healthy, wealthy, and wise! 😄

  • Pipe dreams

Do you want to go to the moon? Dreaming about it is somewhat superficial because I’ll never make it there in my lifetime. Yet if I can go, I would like to asked for discount coupon🤣. Let me know if there’s such I’d be the first to run for it.

Can I indulge in a pipe dream, even if I may not achieve it in my lifetime? I mean, isn’t it great to have all these fantasies floating in your mind? You just need to find ways to motivate yourself and endure your mundane work life. At least that’s what I’d do when I’m bored, lol. Anyway, I’m back after a few days as I had commitments to other priorities. Treat me well and support me. 🙂
