  • Eye-opener encounter

I have been contemplating how people are blessed in different ways. I used to complain a lot about my life, feeling that I am not a lucky person and that I constantly stumble upon obstacles that set me back to square one. However, I have come to realize that I am blessed beyond compare, especially when I see how those around me can enjoy life with the minimum they have. This realization has been an eye-opener for me.

  • What is a patriotic person according to me!

    Daily writing prompt
Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

Being patriotic is genuinely a very challenging personality trait one can ever have. It demands loyalty, devotion, love, and a strong sense of commitment. Personally, I don’t consider myself a particularly patriotic person. I see myself as a common netizen who hopes for the best in all aspects. I don’t appreciate inciting hate or enmity on any grounds. I am a firm believer in the principle of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

I pray and hope that people, irrespective of their background, come to an understanding of love and refrain from trying to outsmart or overpower each other based on factors like identity, religion, caste, gender, or anything that promotes division.

Disclaimer: This is solely my personal view. It does not intend to cause harm to any individual or group on any grounds.

  • I Mistakenly carried a crochet Kit in my check-on bag at the airport

    Daily writing prompt
Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

Hmm… Break a law? What exactly is the LAW we are referring to here? Are we talking about judicial law, school rules, or perhaps Mom’s law? Hehe… if it’s Mom’s law, then I have unintentionally or intentionally broken many of them. But the repercussions were not really pleasant. Well, you know how typical Indian moms are, right? Most of the time, it was not responding to her calls abruptly, especially in the early morning hours because my sleep always won over my sanity. And for that, I received a load of lectures that made my ears bleed. Haha, jokes apart, I have so far not gone against the law for any reasons. I am a law-abiding citizen, you know. Oh oh… wait, recently I carried a crochet kit in my carry-on bag, and it was confiscated by airport security. It was purely unintentional. I misjudged the criteria; I thought I had it in my checked baggage. So that was unintentional, and I meant no harm.

  • Why “Weaving the colors” would be my biography title?

    Daily writing prompt
If there was a biography about you, what would the title be?

If there were to be a biography about me, I would title it “Weaving the Colors.” I hold the belief that life is akin to tapestries of experiences, resembling various colors. As I absorb both the positive and negative aspects of these experiences and integrate them into my life, I see myself weaving different strands of colors to create a beautiful and marvelous attire. This process is a personal endeavor, and I take pride in the fact that it’s not a borrowed design but one that I’ve earned. So, “Weaving the Colors” would be a fitting title, as I continue to collect and intertwine the diverse strands to complete the unique pattern of my life.

PS: It’s actually coming very soon.

  • The first things that I do is say praises to Jesus for the good things.

    Daily writing prompt
You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?

Whenever I receive good news, the first thing I do is shout out praises to the Lord and express a heartfelt “Thank you, Jesus.” Following that, I immediately call my mom to share the news with her. I find immense joy in sharing such moments with my parents and siblings. As for others, I tend to share the news more gradually, perhaps later in the week.

I don’t have grand plans such as hosting celebrations, treating myself to good food, or indulging in pampering sessions. I prefer to keep the joy within myself and my family before gradually sharing it with others. I’m not inclined to proclaim my achievements or share details with everyone.

  • Childhood ICE WATER game

    Daily writing prompt
Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

There are many things I enjoyed in my childhood that I no longer enjoy now. In the past, for some weird reason, I really enjoyed climbing trees and sitting on top of them. I also loved playing and running around with friends, chasing each other, and playing ‘Ice Water.’ However, this interest has gradually faded over the years, and I no longer enjoy or am interested in running and playing the same games. Maybe over the years, I have gained so much weight that I do not want to run, or maybe I am just too lazy to run. Nevertheless, these are things that I have completely lost interest in

  • Blessed beyond compare in life

    Daily writing prompt
How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

Life is a lesson that I can learn each day. I am glad to learn from each passing moment and become wiser every day. Life, for me, has had many ups and downs, with toils and sorrows pushing me to the brink of giving up. I do not know how I can get through these, but by the grace of God and His mighty benevolence, I am holding on and thriving in His presence. It’s neither shallow nor deep; I am blessed to be surrounded by good people wherever I go.

  • Go for a long trip

    Daily writing prompt
Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

I have been planning to go on a long trip since last year, contemplating a road trip, but it has not materialized yet. I hope to fulfill it this year, although I don’t anticipate it happening anytime soon. Let’s hope my plans come to fruition this year.

  • DELL gave me the first impression into computer world.

    Daily writing prompt
    Write about your first computer.

The first computer I ever received was in the year 2015. It was a DELL, a generous gift from my sponsor who provided it from his old collection. I acquired it for my studies, particularly for report writing and other essential course-related work, as I pursued BSW.

Before that, I had not attended any computer coaching, and my experience with computers was limited to sporadic classes during my school days. I had basic knowledge, knowing how to switch on the computer and do some basic Photoshop as per our school curriculum. Nevertheless, I was extremely excited about having my own computer and delved into the world of computing on my own.

I must admit that I faced challenges in the initial phase, particularly with typing. However, I overcame this hurdle after one of my teachers recommended playing typing games to enhance my speed. Gradually, my typing skills improved, and my enthusiasm to learn and explore computers allowed me to quickly grasp various programs. Although I am not as proficient as professionals, I can manage fairly well.

  • Scared to take Financial risk

    Bloganuary writing prompt
What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?

One thing that truly terrifies me is taking financial risks. Unfortunately, I seem to have a streak of bad luck in this area, often losing money without being able to recover. Despite repeated attempts, my efforts have consistently failed. It’s possible that I haven’t found the correct approach, or perhaps I’ve been foolish enough to fall into the trap of unreliable schemes.

Nevertheless, if I ever summon the courage to invest with a prudent approach, it would be a monumental victory for me. Overcoming this fear is a personal challenge I’ve been working on. I believe acquiring sufficient financial knowledge and understanding the right approach are key steps in conquering this fear. Through education and learning, I aim to tackle financial risks wisely and make informed investments for a more secure financial future.
