  • Miss Coldfellow!

I don’t want people to take me for granted; I want them to see me as someone who is really difficult to get along with. I always present myself as someone who is not approachable and who gives off a cold aura, making it clear that I am not someone anybody can mess with. On the other hand, I am a jovial person to those whom I accept into my circle. I have the habit of not accepting just anyone who comes my way as friends or someone I can trust. I am particular about who can be in my circle. So, yes, people know me as that one person who is always cold and difficult to talk to.

  • Are you striving for healing?

Recently, I have been hooked on ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ by Louise Hay, which I came across by chance. As I was procrastinating over choosing between a book or a kurta, I decided to prioritize healing myself first. It’s fascinating to delve into the words; it seems like the book is meant for me to stumble upon.

I had a very enriching journey with ‘Ikigai’ last month, and now ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ is taking me deeper to understand myself and navigate the sources of my self-doubt and brokenness. I am progressing slowly with this book because I want to truly understand the roots and learn how to deal with them. I have not regretted reading it for a second, as my journey with it has been very rewarding.

I would also like to recommend it to those who are striving to heal themselves but don’t know how. I can say with confidence that you won’t regret reading it if you seriously want to address and heal your discomforts. We can Heal!

  • Birds chirp a lullaby

If only I could live anywhere in the world, I would like to live in the countryside amidst beautiful landscapes. I would like to farm and have a WFH job, spending my days with family. I would prefer to be back in my hometown but somewhere further than the community living areas. There, I would enjoy a peaceful, serene life and run some cabins for tourists, as my hometown is a touristy place. I would love to wake up, kissing the sun’s rays, and sleep with the stars and moon shining brightly overhead, while insects and birds chirp a lullaby in the background. There would be days where I would invite my relatives and friends over to celebrate life together, hosting them with scrumptious meals from our own farm. Oh! I wish I were living that life now.

  • A blue gel pen!

It can be said that I have collected a lot of things or materials from different places as I travel around. Among all these, the coolest thing I have kept with me since 2017 is a pen. It’s a blue gel pen with a deep blue color, and it is labeled as ‘made in Japan.’ It was given to me by one of my American friends during our leadership training. I thought it was a priceless gift that someone could ever give (I was actually fascinated by the fact that an American friend gifted me something, lol). I am pretty sure she did not realize that the pen she had given to me was special to me. That’s what I normally feel when I give some of my pens randomly to people when they are in need. To make a long story short, I use this pen to record important events in life now.

  • Never in my wildest dream

The most famous person I’ve ever met! Hmm, my life seems to be pretty boring, hehe. I realized I have never met such an influential, famous, or infamous person in life. Or maybe I was rather negligent in even recognizing them when they were around. I vividly remember some famous film actors from the state visiting my village, and I have seen them up close, but I was not as excited or reactive as others were. There have been many such encounters, yet should I say I am not in that era or am not fascinated by their presence? Maybe I might feel my adrenaline rush when Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, or Don Williams were to be present instead. I will feel blessed when I actually meet Michelle Obama, Sushmita Sen. Finger cross 🤞

  • Spectacles here

Well, well, I have never owned a prized possession like others. I am a minimalist and prefer to spend the least on any possession. For some reason, I am not fond of owning jewelry or branded accessories, perhaps because I am not ready for it or cannot afford it at the moment. 🤫 But there’s one thing I can’t escape, and that’s my spectacles. I have been wearing them for over 10 years now, and I can’t imagine how much money I have spent on them. Sometimes it’s due to my carelessness, and probably because they are only valid for six months. So yeah, they are one of my most prized possessions at the moment.

  • PODCASTS? hehe

Podcasts? Well, I must admit, I rarely listen to podcasts… and by ‘rarely,’ I mean about 20% out of 100! 😁 I tend to lean more towards YouTube and other OTT platforms for my entertainment and inspiration. I find motivation and inspiration through video content, and it often encourages me to pick up good habits in life.

I sometimes think about giving podcasts a try, but I’ve come to realize that I might not be cut out for them. I lack the patience to sit and listen to audio without any accompanying action or movement. 🤣 So, I suppose I’m not a ‘podcast person’ after all.

  • Can my day be done without Google?

My go-to websites are, of course, Google and Chrome. I’ve become quite dependent on them, and whenever I have questions, I rely on them without hesitation. YouTube and Instagram also accompany me in many ways. So, like most people, these are my most frequently used websites.

Recently, for some reason, I’ve found myself becoming more accustomed to using WordPress. I hope this is for the best, as it means I won’t waste my time aimlessly. Instead, I can use it to write down my thoughts and get lost in the words. Additionally, it allows me to connect with people by visiting their stories and thoughts. I hope this is a purposeful development.

  • Staying curious

Being a kid at heart involves maintaining a youthful and optimistic spirit, relishing life’s simple joys, and not being burdened by unnecessary concerns. It’s not about immaturity but about finding happiness in the little things, forgiving easily, pursuing dreams, living carefree, and appreciating the present without being overly concerned about others’ opinions. Essentially, it’s about approaching life with an open heart, staying curious, and never losing my sense of wonder.
