  • Neither chilly nor humid weather

What is your favorite type of weather?

A serene monsoon evening spent by the fireside, relishing freshly roasted sweet corn or maize with cherished loved ones, is indeed a delightful moment to treasure. However, if I were to choose a favorite season, it would undoubtedly be spring, when vibrant flowers bloom and melodious bird songs fill the air. Moreover, during this time of the year, an array of local products from Mother Nature’s bounty enriches the experience. The weather is pleasantly temperate, neither oppressively humid nor bitterly cold, allowing for the freedom to wear clothing of one’s choice.

  • Gentle and composed

What was the best compliment you’ve received?

“You are very gentle and composed, miss,” is a new compliment I’ve been receiving recently. As someone who has struggled with a short temper, I’m constantly reminded to be calm and gentle in my words. I’ve been diligently working on it for quite some time, and I believe that God is answering my prayers, as evidenced by this compliment. It serves as proof that I am indeed becoming more composed than before.

  • Flight over train or bus

You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

When thinking about travel options, the flight travel is absolutely undeniable, primarily due to its unparalleled convenience and time-saving benefits. Opting for air travel allows for an allocation of more time at the intended destination, maximizing the enjoyment and exploration of new surroundings. Furthermore, the streamlined nature of air travel minimizes the logistical challenges often associated with other modes of transportation, such as trains (as I am not very fond of trains or other mode of transport for long distance). Unlike the complexity of navigating between platforms or transfer points, I experience a seamless journey from departure to arrival, enabling a smoother and more stress-free travel experience overall.

  • Solace in moments of laughter

What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?

I find solace in moments of solitary laughter, accompanied by the melodies of music. In those moments, I offer prayers to dispel any lingering negativity. Engaging in household chores or tending to my garden serves as a welcomed distraction, allowing me to immerse myself in tasks that soothe the mind. Today, I experienced a similar wave of emotions and indulged in a room makeover, a delightful endeavor indeed.

  • Journey demanding millions in patience and determination…

You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?

In crafting the opening line of my autobiography, I would aptly express, “Embarking on a journey demanding millions in patience and determination, characterized by unending toils and trials.” This would definitely be my opening remarks.

  • Amazing people helped me to be a unique version of ME.

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

That experience ( I’d prefer not to say) almost led me astray, making me doubt myself and question my worth. In those moments, I found myself belittling not only my capabilities but also becoming toxic to those around me. It’s challenging to fathom how a strong-headed woman can transform into such a person within a year. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the loved ones who provided space, allowed me to grow, prayed for me, and guided me towards becoming a better version of myself through those life experiences. I owe it all to Jesus for placing such wonderful and amazing people in my life. I am actively working on becoming a better version of myself.

  • What advice would you give to your teenage self?

    Dear myself

I write to you with utmost ardor, expressing my joy that you handled the experiences well. It’s also absolutely fine to score ZERO in Math and receive punishment for the same. It’s okay to admit your failure, take up the courage to face challenges, and tackle more difficult papers. They’re not truly challenging if you analyze them properly. So, don’t limit yourself to your comfort zone but go beyond limits, as the sky is the limit.

  • Who are the Favorite people in the list?

Who are your favorite people to be around?

Parents and siblings are those I can never do without. I love having them around and spending 90% of my life with them. Then come my friends, who are strangely weird in their own way. I am grateful that they are always with me. Additionally, I love having kids around—not my own, but those in my neighborhood or school. I enjoy spending time with them and embracing life together.

  • Eye-opener encounter

I have been contemplating how people are blessed in different ways. I used to complain a lot about my life, feeling that I am not a lucky person and that I constantly stumble upon obstacles that set me back to square one. However, I have come to realize that I am blessed beyond compare, especially when I see how those around me can enjoy life with the minimum they have. This realization has been an eye-opener for me.
