  • Striving for quality life?

Alright, I ain’t gonna lie, I have been skipping physical exercises (Yoga) intentionally or unintentionally. I tried my best to keep up with daily exercises for at least 30 minutes, yet I am unable to practice it. I would have a number of excuses each day. Haha, that’s me. How about you? What’s one thing that you can’t keep up with in your everyday routine? Let me know in the comments, and let’s work together. You can also suggest to me how to keep going with the practice that I am finding hard to do.

Yes, strving for a quality lifestyle seems to be simple but it’s harder to really start practicing it. I hope once I am used to with it I will be able to adjust my time for it. And practice it as my daily routine.

  • Never in my wildest dream

The most famous person I’ve ever met! Hmm, my life seems to be pretty boring, hehe. I realized I have never met such an influential, famous, or infamous person in life. Or maybe I was rather negligent in even recognizing them when they were around. I vividly remember some famous film actors from the state visiting my village, and I have seen them up close, but I was not as excited or reactive as others were. There have been many such encounters, yet should I say I am not in that era or am not fascinated by their presence? Maybe I might feel my adrenaline rush when Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, or Don Williams were to be present instead. I will feel blessed when I actually meet Michelle Obama, Sushmita Sen. Finger cross 🤞

  • Dr Leo 🐈

What’s good about having a pet? A pet can be annoying at times, yet if we tame them properly, they really become a part of our daily life. I vividly remember years ago when my sisters had a pet cat called LEO. At first, I was quite resistant to him; I wasn’t encouraging my sister to keep him with us. Yet later, LEO somehow got my attention. He would come and sit near me, sleep on my lap, and sometimes even massage my back and shoulders. I know, I can’t believe that LEO did that, but yes, he really did.

He knew when I was angry, and he would also be angry with me when I ignored him or forgot to give him food in the absence of my sister. Leo would always look forward to my sister’s return from her work in the evening. Initially, I did not realize this routine. Only when my sister mentioned it, I tried observing Leo, and that is how I was taken by surprise that he waits for her every evening at the door.

Overall, having a pet at home is good only if you are able to look after them and take care of them. If they are not taken care of or you don’t know how to look after them, then I’d say again you should not own a pet at all.

  • Spectacles here

Well, well, I have never owned a prized possession like others. I am a minimalist and prefer to spend the least on any possession. For some reason, I am not fond of owning jewelry or branded accessories, perhaps because I am not ready for it or cannot afford it at the moment. 🤫 But there’s one thing I can’t escape, and that’s my spectacles. I have been wearing them for over 10 years now, and I can’t imagine how much money I have spent on them. Sometimes it’s due to my carelessness, and probably because they are only valid for six months. So yeah, they are one of my most prized possessions at the moment.

  • PODCASTS? hehe

Podcasts? Well, I must admit, I rarely listen to podcasts… and by ‘rarely,’ I mean about 20% out of 100! 😁 I tend to lean more towards YouTube and other OTT platforms for my entertainment and inspiration. I find motivation and inspiration through video content, and it often encourages me to pick up good habits in life.

I sometimes think about giving podcasts a try, but I’ve come to realize that I might not be cut out for them. I lack the patience to sit and listen to audio without any accompanying action or movement. 🤣 So, I suppose I’m not a ‘podcast person’ after all.

  • Weirdest student in Hindi paper 😀

For some reason, I had a strong affinity for the Hindi paper, even though I didn’t fully understand the language or know how to speak it. I consistently scored well in Hindi due to my strong writing skills. Reading the text and learning the spellings of the lessons came easily to me. It was somewhat puzzling to me that my classmates struggled with this subject and found it challenging to score well.

My teachers were amazed by my performance and even encouraged me to learn the meanings of the words. Psst: Interestingly, I still haven’t learned to speak Hindi fluently, but I have a good grasp of the meanings. In fact, I can even teach kindergarten children the meanings of Hindi words! 😂

  • How do you manage your screen time?

I’m trying to manage my screen time, but I’ve been facing some challenges. I’ve set specific time limits for my screen usage and set reminders to close particular apps when my screen time is up. Additionally, I’ve been trying to engage in other activities like reading books or doing other tasks to distract myself from the screen. However, I’m still struggling to effectively manage my screen time as I often find myself overusing my phone, mindlessly scrolling.

Managing screen time can be a continuous effort, and it’s important to explore additional strategies that can help me stay on track and reduce unnecessary phone usage.

  • Can my day be done without Google?

My go-to websites are, of course, Google and Chrome. I’ve become quite dependent on them, and whenever I have questions, I rely on them without hesitation. YouTube and Instagram also accompany me in many ways. So, like most people, these are my most frequently used websites.

Recently, for some reason, I’ve found myself becoming more accustomed to using WordPress. I hope this is for the best, as it means I won’t waste my time aimlessly. Instead, I can use it to write down my thoughts and get lost in the words. Additionally, it allows me to connect with people by visiting their stories and thoughts. I hope this is a purposeful development.

  • Can I fast-forward my life?

Life always holds surprises that can send your adrenaline racing and take you from rock bottom to success. At times, I find myself questioning whether I was born into the right family, society, or place. However, whether you call it destiny or fate, I believe that we are where we are today due to who we are, who we will become, and our past experiences.

Having endured numerous challenges in life and finding myself barely hanging on, I don’t yearn to rewind or relive my life. Instead, I aspire to fast-forward to a point in life where I can genuinely say that I am grateful for my success.

Oh how I wish life can be like a TV remote where you can fast-forward the boring never ending drama 🥱🙃

  • Culturally cultured

Cultural awareness is the recognition and appreciation of diverse beliefs, customs, values, and perspectives among people from various backgrounds. It encompasses understanding that different cultures may have unique ways of life, communication styles, and social norms. Importantly, it extends beyond appreciating other cultures to include self-reflection about one’s own cultural background and biases. This self-awareness forms the basis for developing cultural competence, enabling effective interactions in diverse cultural settings.

Individuals with cultural awareness are well-equipped to build positive relationships, mediate conflicts, and contribute to a more inclusive and harmonious society that celebrates the richness of cultural diversity.
