  • How I plan for my perfect reading space!

    Daily writing prompt
You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

A perfect reading space lies down the corner of the hall, adjacent to the garden outside. With a patio back door that directly connects to the garden, this reading room is designed for tranquility and inspiration. The room features a diverse collection of books spanning different genres from decades.

I envision the room to be designed in a classic style, utilizing resources sourced from the same land. The aesthetic will seamlessly blend with the surroundings, creating a harmonious and timeless atmosphere. Additionally, I’d love to incorporate some greenery inside, cultivating plants right outside the back door to enhance the natural ambiance of the reading space.

  • Action movie

If I didn’t need sleep, I would spend all that extra time watching dramas or action series— I’m a bit of an action movie buff, so that would be my go-to activity. Alternatively, I might spend time crocheting and experimenting with new styles on my own. I also enjoy reading novels and books. Gardening is another interest of mine, and I’d love to have a small garden for growing spices and herbs. And, of course, there might be moments where I just sit and scroll through my phone idly. Hehe!

  • Are you striving for healing?

Recently, I have been hooked on ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ by Louise Hay, which I came across by chance. As I was procrastinating over choosing between a book or a kurta, I decided to prioritize healing myself first. It’s fascinating to delve into the words; it seems like the book is meant for me to stumble upon.

I had a very enriching journey with ‘Ikigai’ last month, and now ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ is taking me deeper to understand myself and navigate the sources of my self-doubt and brokenness. I am progressing slowly with this book because I want to truly understand the roots and learn how to deal with them. I have not regretted reading it for a second, as my journey with it has been very rewarding.

I would also like to recommend it to those who are striving to heal themselves but don’t know how. I can say with confidence that you won’t regret reading it if you seriously want to address and heal your discomforts. We can Heal!

  • Rekindle the habit of reading

    Daily writing prompt
What have you been putting off doing? Why?

I’ve been wanting to rekindle the habit of reading, but I’ve struggled to do so because I constantly find myself distracted by my phone. Regrettably, I’ve been losing precious time aimlessly scrolling through it. I hope I would stop procrastinating and put into action.
