  • Not Fretting about What’s next?

What does freedom mean to you?

Freedom, to me, means not constantly fretting about “What’s next?” Often, we convince ourselves we’re content in our shell, yet beneath the surface, many of us harbor unknown worries. Some of us become overly preoccupied with tomorrow or the future. I’m one of those individuals who can’t shake the obsession with “what’s next?” I’ve attempted countless times and in myriad ways to live in the moment, but external pressures and my eldest daughter’s trauma persistently haunt me. It’s easier said than done, you know. Amidst all this turmoil, one thing remains certain: surrendering and entrusting all worries and concerns to the Almighty brings solace and peace of mind. As for you, how do you manage your anxieties and worries?

  • Solace in moments of laughter

What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?

I find solace in moments of solitary laughter, accompanied by the melodies of music. In those moments, I offer prayers to dispel any lingering negativity. Engaging in household chores or tending to my garden serves as a welcomed distraction, allowing me to immerse myself in tasks that soothe the mind. Today, I experienced a similar wave of emotions and indulged in a room makeover, a delightful endeavor indeed.

  • What is a patriotic person according to me!

    Daily writing prompt
Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

Being patriotic is genuinely a very challenging personality trait one can ever have. It demands loyalty, devotion, love, and a strong sense of commitment. Personally, I don’t consider myself a particularly patriotic person. I see myself as a common netizen who hopes for the best in all aspects. I don’t appreciate inciting hate or enmity on any grounds. I am a firm believer in the principle of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

I pray and hope that people, irrespective of their background, come to an understanding of love and refrain from trying to outsmart or overpower each other based on factors like identity, religion, caste, gender, or anything that promotes division.

Disclaimer: This is solely my personal view. It does not intend to cause harm to any individual or group on any grounds.
