  • Best food

If you are uncomfortable with discussions about eating meat or the process of obtaining it, feel free to skip this part. I’ll be sharing some insights into my food habits today.

As a non-vegetarian, I enjoy eating meat at least once or twice a week. My preference leans towards chicken and fish, as I find them more appealing than other types of meat. While I occasionally consume meat from the jungle, chicken and fish remain my top choices.

Duck or turkey meat is considered a luxury for me, and I don’t have the opportunity to indulge in them frequently. Additionally, I personally find their taste not comparable to that of chicken or fish.

However, I do experience a sense of guilt when animals, particularly those familiar to me or considered as pets, are involved. If an animal were my pet, I would hesitate to consume it. This sentiment is one reason why I avoid keeping pets, as I find it emotionally challenging to let them go.

This sensitivity extends to my friendships as well. I am selective about who I accept as a friend, as I struggle with the idea of letting people go from my life, much like my sentiments towards pets.

While I enjoy eating meat and exploring different cooking styles, I prefer sticking to familiar options and may be hesitant to try unfamiliar dishes.

  • Agriculture/ Farmer

    Daily writing prompt
What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

Growing up, I used to assume that coming from an agriculturist family might be seen as a disadvantage. I felt hesitant to share with others about my parents’ occupation, fearing potential stereotypes or judgments. However, over time, my perspective has completely transformed, and I now carry immense pride in their work.

My parents have dedicated themselves to providing us with an abundance of organic, healthy foods. Their commitment to cultivating nutritious crops and raising livestock with care has not only nourished our family but also instilled in us a profound appreciation for the quality and purity of the food we consume.

Moreover, I’ve come to realize the broader significance of their occupation. They are unsung heroes who contribute significantly to the local economy. Their tireless efforts in agriculture not only sustain our household but also provide livelihoods for others in our community. They generate jobs, support local businesses, and ensure a steady supply of fresh produce to our region.

As I’ve grown older, I’ve learned to celebrate the vital role my parents play in our community and society as a whole. Their dedication to sustainable and organic farming practices inspires me, and I now proudly share with others the noble profession of my parents. They are not just farmers; they are stewards of the land, providers of nourishment, and contributors to the well-being of our local economy.

Dedicated to all the Agriculturist and farmers of my community.

  • Ideal Good Day!

What’s the ideal good day like? What do you expect your day to be… As for me, I look forward to having positive emotions, meaningful experiences, and a sense of accomplishment. A positive start, physical well-being, productivity, quality time with loved ones, relaxation, nature appreciation, mental and emotional well-being, kindness, good food, adventure, creativity, gratitude, and balance. What constitutes an ideal day is subjective and can change over time, so it’s important to prioritize activities that align with your values and contribute to your well-being. I know I can’t have all these elements in a day or in my everyday life nevertheless, I would want myself to be satisfied with just a small sense of accomplishments or good food. What about you? What can make your day fulfilling and contented?
