  • Childhood ICE WATER game

    Daily writing prompt
Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

There are many things I enjoyed in my childhood that I no longer enjoy now. In the past, for some weird reason, I really enjoyed climbing trees and sitting on top of them. I also loved playing and running around with friends, chasing each other, and playing ‘Ice Water.’ However, this interest has gradually faded over the years, and I no longer enjoy or am interested in running and playing the same games. Maybe over the years, I have gained so much weight that I do not want to run, or maybe I am just too lazy to run. Nevertheless, these are things that I have completely lost interest in

  • My all time favorite candy

    Daily writing prompt
    What’s your favorite candy?

To be blunt, I rarely have favorites of anything as my preferences change over time. When it comes to candy, I don’t have a specific favorite as I’m not particularly fond of it. However, if I recall correctly, during my childhood, I used to like the orange candy that cost 50 paise per piece. I enjoyed the smell and flavors, and it was shaped like a piece of an orange. That was one of my long-time favorite candies.

As for now, I’m not fond of any specific candy. If I were to pick one for myself, I might choose Imli or lemon-flavored candy.

  • Take break and rejuvenate but never give up

    Daily writing prompt
Do you need a break? From what?

Everyone needs a break, especially those working in the corporate sector or professionals who have been busy balancing life. We all require time to step away and travel or engage in activities for recuperation, just to rejuvenate and refresh our minds. I recently took a break from the world, giving myself time to rejuvenate and come back to life. I’m glad I made that decision, considering it wasn’t an easy one, being a person responsible for the family.

I take pride in the decision I made, and I would strongly recommend that everyone takes time for themselves occasionally, ensuring they aren’t overwhelmed by the demands of work. At some point, we all feel exhausted and contemplate giving up. Here, I suggest not giving up but taking a break – travel somewhere, sleep in, or do something extraordinary to distance yourself from the workload.

  • Blessed beyond compare in life

    Daily writing prompt
How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

Life is a lesson that I can learn each day. I am glad to learn from each passing moment and become wiser every day. Life, for me, has had many ups and downs, with toils and sorrows pushing me to the brink of giving up. I do not know how I can get through these, but by the grace of God and His mighty benevolence, I am holding on and thriving in His presence. It’s neither shallow nor deep; I am blessed to be surrounded by good people wherever I go.

  • Why I complain about in life

    Bloganuary writing prompt
What do you complain about the most?

There are numerous things in life that I find myself complaining about. Haha, I’m not someone who leans heavily towards positive thinking or is an extreme pessimist. I become most agitated when confronted with a conceited person who engages in a lot of empty talk. Interestingly, I seem to have picked up this habit over time.

I often find myself pondering why some people can enjoy life from such a young age, while I’m still figuring out how to navigate it. Consequently, I have plenty to complain about. Most of the time, my grievances revolve around life seeming unfair to me. Honestly, I can’t pinpoint what I complain about the most in life.
